Mission accomplished.

Now I’m back in the lame cyber again.

Yes, I had completed my main mission this morning. No news is good news. First I met my spine specialist. He had some news for me. A sharing, I would describe it as. “We had a similar case to yours not long after you left. An Indonesian guy. We tried the same reconstruction but was not successful”, he said as he observed my x-ray.

“It’s too big”, he added, showing the size of a watermelon with both his hands.

“How’s he now?”, I asked and at the same time trying hard to imagine how he is going to survive with a tumor of that size.

“He?”, he asked me back. His nurse smiled and looked at me, seemed as to know what he was going to say next.

“He already amen. He endured the pain for two years before he found out that there was a tumor inside him”, he continued.

I gasped in surprise. I left that thing grow inside me before I discovered it after one year, at the size of a chicken egg. Two years and it was the size of a watermelon.I guessed the poor man must had succumbed in operation theater, or not long afterward. Yet it was classified as benign. Now I do understand that grey zone do really exist. Anyway my doctor used to tell me it was an aggressive one. Yup, that was spooky. So folks, if you have any persistent pain inside you, you had better check it out!

After met my spine specialist, I met my ortho tumor specialist. He did his routine check, looked at my x-ray and asked if I was sure that I could resume office. I told him I could, and will go back to him instantly if I discovered anything which is out of ordinary. I left after I bid him and his nurse goodbye and Happy Christmas. I will see them again in the coming February.

Now in the mood to go shopping again. See you!
